Gaur Gopal Das gave up his promising engineering career to become a monk, joining the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in 1996 and is currently a disciple of Radhanath Swami. The spiritual leader is also a lifestyle coach and motivational speaker.

In addition, he is the founder or co-founder of several humanitarian and environmental organizations like Ganga Action Parivar, the India Heritage Research Foundation (IHRF), the Divine Shakti Foundation, Project Hope and several more.

Though originally from Hollywood, California, Dr. Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati lives at the Parmarth Niketan Ashram in Rishikesh most of the year, giving daily spiritual discourses and satsangs, teaches meditation, provides counseling and oversees a myriad of charitable and humanitarian projects and activities, among them as secretary general of the Global Interfaith WASH Alliance that promotes clean water, sanitation and hygiene. She is also the president of the Divine Shakti Foundation and director of the International Yoga Festival in Rishikesh.

Laxmi Narayan Tripathi is a transgender rights activist, Hindi film actor and Bharatanatyam dancer who has been associated with TYI for many years, helping the Institute reach out to other members of the transgender community through yoga. Laxmi was born in Thane in 1979 and currently resides in Mumbai. She is the first transgender person to represent Asia Pacific in the United Nations, where she spoke of the plight of sexual minorities in 2008.
