How do these yoga poses help to reduce thigh fats? Here are some of the main reasons as to how they work

The liver

Yoga asanas mentioned above help to stimulate the internal organs and liver. The liver is responsible for detoxification (cleansing) of the body. It helps to purify the blood and get rid of harmful metabolic wastes and toxins. A healthy liver helps by eliminating bad fats from the body and utilises the good fats for energy production. Yoga poses massage and stimulate the vital organ (liver) and keeps it functioning optimally hence fat loss is aided.

Thyroid Gland

Yoga poses help to activate the Thyroid Gland function. The gland is responsible for controlling our metabolism. Yoga asana help to correct thyroid dysfunction and helps in burning of fat at a better rate.

Nervous System

Stress is one of the major reasons for fat accumulation at a faster rate. Stress means disturbed emotional state, and this causes people to eat more during stressful times. Also, stress causes the production of Cortisol hormone which in turn triggers hunger and accumulation of fat around the stomach and thighs. Yoga helps to strike a balance between (Flight and fight response) Sympathetic and Parasympathetic Nervous System. Yoga helps to relieve anxiety and stress and promotes holistic health by keep stress hormones and BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) in check thus weight loss is appropriately regulated.

pH

Yoga asana and proper Sattvic diet ensure proper PH of the body.  Acidic pH body type has more tendencies to accumulate fats as a protective mechanism. Yoga helps in regulating the pH at a safe alkaline level. So, opt for organic seasonal free green vegetables and fruits to maintain proper pH of the body.

Body heat

Yoga poses trigger the nerves because of the systematic stretching, and this generates body heat. The warmth generated helps in mobilising and burning the visceral and stored subcutaneous fat.

Muscle strength

Improves muscle strength. Yoga exercises involve muscle stretching and compression which help in weight loss. Fat is used as fuel during muscle activity and leads to weight loss.

You can also opt for The Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation) this yoga exercise will help tone the entire body(But only healthy people should perform this particular yoga exercise.) It is a very useful exercise for reducing thigh fat.
