Pudina & Coriander Buttermilk or Chaas

  • 1/2 litre fresh plain buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup fresh and cleaned mint leaves, chopped finely
  • 1/4 cup fresh and cleaned coriander leaves, chopped finely
  • 1/2 inch ginger, grated finely
  • 1/2 tsp dry roasted cumin seeds, ground coarsely
  • Salt to taste

Method

  1. In a mixing bowl, take the finely chopped mint and mix chopped coriander. Blend in the butter milk slowly. Mix gently.
  2. Old- School butter churner comes in handy, if not you can use a big ladle to mix rest of the ingredients.Chill it in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes or serve fresh along with lunch.

Buttermilk naturally improves digestive system. Butter milk is rich in calcium and acts as a natural detoxifying agent. Boosts immunity and gastro-intestinal problems are cleared.
