Three Months Advanced Teachers’ Training Course (Three Months TTC) (English)
- Content
- This is an advanced and comprehensive training programme. The course is quite intensive as students are expected to complete the course curriculum in 3 months.The course syllabus covers in depth study and practice of asanas, pranayamas and kriyas. Further, attitude training, public speaking, methodology of teaching, practice teaching, anatomy & physiology, Yoga and Samkhya philosophy, quintessence of the Bhagvad Gita, Yoga Sutras etc. are also given equal importance.In addition, students have to attend the experiential learning sessions, read, study and prepare submissions and presentations, as required.The Three Months TTC trains students to teach Yoga to all age groups, and in the management of various diseases. Highly trained teachers conduct this course.On completion of full attendance and all other pre-requisites, an examination shall be conducted at the end of the course, after which successful students will be awarded certificates.All lectures will be in English for the Three Month TTC and students are expected to be fluent in speaking reading and writing the language.Our campus is managed like an ashram (hermitage) which inculcates discipline and promotes self reliance. The food served is strictly vegetarian.

- Prerequisites
7 Days Health Camp – within 3 months prior to joining the 3 Months’ Teachers’ Training Course.
The Code of Conduct will have to be followed on acceptance as a student in the 3 Month TTC.
It is expected that an atmosphere of positivity and sincerity be maintained.
No prerequisite knowledge of Yoga is necessary, however it is encouraged that students come here with an open mind to learn Classical Yoga.
- Registration
Registration has to be done 3 months prior for completion of visa formalities and other residential requirements.

- Non-Residential: Rs. 75,000/- (Inclusive of course fee, study material, 4 meals a day and 7 Day Camp)

This is an experiential introductory course to Yoga theory and practice where one would experience a yogic way of life. It is ideal for anyone who wants to live a yoga way of life and experience peace within. It helps you to incorporate Yogic ideals in every field of daily life.

The programme covers Asanas, Pranayamas, Kriyas, Yogic concepts, diet, games, recreation, attitude training, relaxation and meditation.

Highly trained teachers conduct this course.

Duration

1 week. The camp starts on the Sat and ends after lunch on the following Friday.

Timings

Saturday: 8:30 am – 7:30 pm
Sunday to Thursday: 7:00 am – 7:30 pm
Friday: 7:00 am – 1:00 pm

Prerequisites

To enrol you need to complete the application form (online or hard copy). You will receive a confirmation of approval by email or telephone.

Campers are advised to wear loose fitting, comfortable and appropriate clothing such as full-length track pants and T-shirt.

Capris, shorts, tank tops, low cut shirts, short and sleeve less T-shirts are not permitted as per the Institute dress code.

Woven mats are provided at the Institute.

Campers are encouraged not to leave the premises during the course and will be required to abide by the Institute’s code of conduct.
