The 500 + hours part-time program is Teachers’ Training certificate course that prepares students for teaching Yoga techniques to healthy individual. The course covers theoretical and practical aspects of Yoga. The syllabus also consists of experiential learning of unique techniques & concepts pioneered by the founders of our Institute.
We would be conducting this course online since The Yoga Institute has suspended all the classes due to lockdown.
Note: Due to the nationwide lockdown, we would be conducting the 500 + hours part-time Intermediary TTC ( English) online, starting from 31st August and it shall remain online till the end of the course, ending on21st Nov 2020.
Recording Policy of TYI
The Institute retains all rights to record the live interactive sessions for their internal usage.
These recordings are strictly for the institute and the data is stored securely in a manner that reasonably protects it from misuse and loss and from unauthorized access, modification or disclosure.
Students are prohibited from recording these live sessions. We don’t use any Pre recorded videos, rather it’s a live session where you can directly interact with the teacher.
The Yoga Institute is recognised by the Government of India (Ministry of AYUSH) and it was the first yoga teacher training school in India to be accredited after the AYUSH-QCI scheme was launched.
This course conforms to the YCB Level-2 Yoga Wellness Instructor course – mentored by the ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India.
The Yoga Institute is fully accredited with the Yoga Alliance, USA, and the participant of this RYT 500 hours course, are eligible to apply on Yoga Alliance site as Register Yoga Teacher.
The TTC-I is an extensive course that provides adequate knowledge of Yogic concepts and techniques for the promotion of wellness. After successfully completing the course, TTC -I certificate holders will be qualified to conduct Yoga sessions for
– School children
– Healthy adults incorporates (individual and groups) institutions and social groups
– for people with minor ailments and disorders.
The course syllabus covers the study and practice of Asanas, Pranayamas, and Kriyas. Further, Public Speaking, Methodology of teaching, Practice teaching, Anatomy & Physiology, Introduction to traditional Yoga texts, the quintessence of Bhagavad Gita philosophy, yogic concepts with reference to Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra, etc.
In addition to class attendance, participants are required to attend wellness Camps /workshops.
Besides, students have to read, study, and prepare submissions and presentations, as required.
On completion of full class attendance (minimum 80%) and other pre-requisites, an examination shall be conducted and successful students will be awarded certificates.

Application: This session will be conducted via the Zoom app
Meeting ID and Password: Will be provided one day prior to each session on email by The Yoga Institute.
No requests for recordings or sharing of the session shall be granted.
Wear loose comfortable clothing. Avoid a full meal just before the session, as we will be performing asanas. Keep a time gap between the meal and the start of the session. You may have fruit or dry fruit before the session to energize if you wish. Keep a notepad and pen available if you wish to take notes. Good internet connectivity is important. Students will be marked absent if they switch off the camera.
All sessions are live and no recording is done in any TTC’s.
Handbook and course-related books shall be provided to the students.
The final exams will be held online, within a week after the course ends.
50 marks theory
50 marks practices (Demonstration, teaching skills, and viva)
The date and timing of the same would be informed a month before the course ends.
A mock test (both practical and theory) will be conducted 10 days before the final exam, to familiarlise students with the exam format
Certificates would be awarded, post clearing the final exams.
*Mandatory to have a device other than a mobile phone, Ipad, and a Gmail account, to appear for the exam.
All lectures will be in English and students are expected to be fluent in speaking reading and writing the language.

Exam Timings: The mock & final exam dates as well as timings will be finalized and intimated to the students one week prior to the date of the scheduled exams.
The time of the exam will be scheduled during the course of the day as per Indian Standard Time.
Please note that the course timing includes both the time slots.
