“What could sadden us is that inspite of so much being said about self control and all that, our present life is based only on pleasure, only on sensual experiences, films and film stars. And it will continue. If you know it is going worst, the relief can only happen if we can think a little more on ourselves, our life; and for this we should read something that can help. It need not be very lengthy writing. It could be something very little. I would strongly recommend this book – Bhagwad Gita. Read one or two verses and see what all we are interested in, everyday. And gradually it can help bring change in your attitude.”

– Dr. Jayadeva Yogendra

Satsang is an open meeting held every Sunday from 9:30 to 10:30 am at The Yoga Institute, Santacruz East, Mumbai. It involves an interesting presentation to the public, made by the students of the Teacher Training Course. Each week, a new presentation of a Yogic concept is made in a simple way through skits and decoration for the general public, followed by a short speech from our Gurus, Dr. Jayadeva and Smt. Hansaji Yogendra.
