“You see, we are reminded of past history and we are definitely impressed. But the point is that whether we can genuinely rise to these feelings or just artificially join in singing some slogans. See, when we are talking about yoga, we are talking about that kind of genuine feeling – repeating the name of God with true devotion, forgetting everything else – that can bring some result. Merely joining a large procession and singing and dancing doesn’t bring us much. So let us see how we can generate genuine feeling and carry them out whenever possible.”

Satsang is an open meeting held every Sunday from 9:30 to 10:30 am at The Yoga Institute, Santacruz East, Mumbai. It involves an interesting presentation to the public, made by the students of the Teacher Training Course. Each week, a new presentation of a Yogic concept is made in a simple way through skits and decoration for the general public, followed by a short speech from our Gurus, Dr. Jayadeva and Smt. Hansaji Yogendra.
