“The easiest way to understand is to say a ‘no’ and carry it out. We don’t do that. We say ‘no’ and later on find out excuses why we should say ‘yes’ and that is how we are not able to carry it out. We should have that strength of mind and that is what we have to build up. If we are a determined person, when we say ‘no’ we mean it and carry it out. Some little pre-thinking is necessary with discussions and arriving at a decision. If we can do this much our ‘no’ will have meaning. Otherwise the ‘no’ will be just verbal. This applies to all the areas of life. We want to do many things, we talk about it, but finally, we hardly do much. So let us decide that when we say a ‘no,’ we’ll mean it and not just merely talk.”

Satsang is an open meeting held every Sunday from 9:30 to 10:30 am at The Yoga Institute, Santacruz East, Mumbai. It involves an interesting presentation to the public, made by the students of the Teacher Training Course. Each week, a new presentation of a Yogic concept is made in a simple way through skits and decoration for the general public, followed by a short speech from our Gurus, Dr. Jayadeva and Smt. Hansaji Yogendra.
