The Yoga Institute has been a stalwart in spreading the ‘yoga for all’ mission from local to global level. It is one of the oldest organised yoga centre in the world slowly spreading’s its wings to benefit people from all walks of life.

The Yoga Institute’s innovation is receiving lot of love and we thank all for your support. Beloved director Smt. Hansaji has shared her insights on what classical yoga is all about and its application in daily life. Yoga asanas, Kriyas, Meditation and Pranayamas were prepared as per The Yoga Institute guidelines.

The Matunga branch programs are designed keeping in mind the Householder’s daily requirements. For example- learn how to mend common problems like clear skin, improved blood circulation, fat reduction more easily. Learn how to effectively manage diabetes, thyroid and BP related symptoms effectively. Learn the foundations of four pillars of Ahar, Achar, Vihar, and Vichar to lead a happy and fulfilling life. These help to improves focus and peace of mind, increase mind & body flexibility, vitality and energy levels.

We have designed special classes of Asanas, Kriyas, Pranayamas and Meditation technique keeping your requirement in mind and easy to follow tools that make it easy to include classical yoga asanas practise easy to adapt in day-to-day life. Special Regular Classes

Special classes are an ideal way of Yoga education for daily practice. The classes cover Asanas, Pranayamas, Kriyas, diet and Yogic lifestyle recommendations. Further, based on participant health conditions separate guidance is given.


Classes are of 1 hour duration held on weekdays (Monday to Friday) and classes are for one and half hour on weekend (Saturday & Sunday). You could opt for weekday’s classes and/or the weekends classes.

A minimum attendance of 3 months is recommended, to experience the difference in your life. Participants can join on any day of the month.
