11th May 2014 – Sunday – Purusha and Prakruti
“This entire universe is functioning for this ‘Knower.’ Unfortunately, the object of this knowledge – the tables and chairs and houses and people, they occupy the central position and we are all after that. Even if the house is still good, what it’ll be in the end is not known. But we are not really working with the change. We are just caught up in different problems. And there is so much suffering. The simplest solution is to look for the ‘Knower,’ the Purusha and not the object of knowledge i.e. Prakruti.”
13th May 2014 – Tuesday – Bhagavad Gita (6.44 – 45)
“See, these are the descriptions of a yogi who has reached the highest. One who takes birth in the house of a yogi and who is prosperous, not subject to the senses, how such an individual is closer to God and is always lost in that thought. Though apparently it looks like an ordinary individual. A yogi who starves, carries on his duties with great care and purified from senses and perfected, he is the one who reaches the highest.”
15th May 2014 – Thursday – Karuna
“See we have this subject, ‘Karuna’, a kind of a willingness- to be helped, something that we generate, create artificially. We want another person to have feelings for us. Now this may be sometimes genuine, sometimes not, but we slowly master the art and it can disappear also. But is a definite feeling that is there, that you are awaiting the individual.”
