3. Don’t have a heavy meal just before or while doing yoga asanas. Wait for at least 2 to 3 hours after eating a heavy meal.
4. When suffering from fever, weakness, illness, or after any surgery, refrain from yoga asana practice. Don’t overexert if you have fresh sprains, strains, or fractures. Rest adequately and consult your physician before resuming yoga practice.
5. Don’t practice yoga in an unclean place or areas with smoke or unpleasant smells.
6. Children below five years of age should not be taught or forced to practice yoga.
7. Don’t consume alcohol or use drugs while doing yoga.
